Pricing explained
Backlink price checker for bloggers: what one link costs
Price per link runs from $1 to about $500 here, and the spread confuses people. This page explains what moves the number and shows how three example budgets could be split.

In one breath
Price follows the donor, never your post
The cost of a placement comes from the site that carries it: its Domain Rating, its organic traffic and its niche. Your own post, however good, does not change the number on the row.
- Pay-as-you-go, no subscription
- From $1 up to about $500 for top domains
- A per-row cap decided before you browse
Three example budgets (illustrative, not quotes)
| Budget | Posts | Placements per post | Cap per row | What it tests |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $100 | 2 | 2 | $25 | Whether links move a page-two post at all |
| $300 | 3 | 2 | $50 | A pillar plus two single-question posts |
| $1,000 | 4 | 3 | $80 | A full cluster, with a little left for a second round |
What sits behind the number
Three things set a row's price. Authority, shown as Domain Rating. Organic traffic, which tells you whether real people visit. And the niche, because some topics cost more to publish in.
A $1 row is not a trap. A $500 row is not a miracle. A small, topical site at a low price may suit a niche post better than an expensive general one. Compare rows side by side before you decide.
Referring domains are also on every row. A donor with plenty of them has been cited by others, which is a rough sign of care. Ahrefs and Semrush use similar ideas, though each computes its own score, so expect small differences.
If your blog is about one topic, the mistakes list explains why neighbourhood beats headline score.
Sketch a basket on paper first
This widget is a local estimate only. It does not read live prices or place an order. Use it to try a cap per row before you open the marketplace.
What you get for the money, and what you do not
Each order includes the article. It is written automatically, carries one clean link to your page, and usually goes live within about 24 hours of payment. You can instead give your own prompt or send a finished piece.
Placements are permanent dofollow. That is a statement about the link, not about results. A well-placed link may help a page that deserved help, and a poor one may do nothing. We refuse to guess which, and nobody serious should.
Balance is topped up in the dashboard, and invoices are available if you need paperwork. Before you top up, use the triage to decide how many rows you really need.
Price questions bloggers ask
Is the cheapest link good enough for a hobby blog?
Often yes, if the site is in your topic and the page gets some traffic. Price is only a rough proxy for strength. Compare the niche and the traffic figure before judging by price alone.
Why does the same niche show such different prices?
Because authority and traffic differ between sites. Two garden blogs can sit at very different Domain Ratings and visitor counts, and the price follows. The marketplace lets you sort by each column so you can see the trade-off.
Do I pay again every month?
No. It is pay-as-you-go with no subscription. A placement is bought once and is permanent. You only pay when you decide to order another link, and the basket never charges you in advance.
